Basics of Vidi window composition
The composition of the Vidi window is explicit and contains three basic components:
o Symbol
o head and
o body
A typical window composition with larger heading and symbol is shown in the picture below.
The hierarchy of the components reflects this order as much as possible. Some of the components may be shown visible-hidden or may be set smaller-larger. The simpler limitation is set when hiding or showing the compositional components – the symbol is always visible, whether as small or large.
Further, both - the symbol and head can appear as smaller or larger scale (see preceding demos).
Right mouse button click on symbol, head or body is used to switch between composition modes.
Switching the head visible/invisible
Right click on the Vidi borders set the head and symbol of the windows ON or OFF, as seen by the demo below:
Switching the body visibly/invisibly
Right-mouse click on the Vidi head switches the body of the window ON or OFF, as seen by the demo below:
Switching the head and body visibly/invisibly
Right click on the Vidi symbol switches the head and body of the window ON or OFF, as seen below:
Remark 1: When the symbol remains alone on the desktop, it changes scale and becomes larger.
Remark 2: If the is body already invisible, this method switches only the head of the Vidi window ON or OFF.
