Setting the heading mode
|
|
This mode is reserved for future functionalities of the product and switches Vidi window’s head appearance between Pictorial or Menu modes: - as picture or as menu. Its main usage is:
o To show a Vidi head hollow into which some menu items can be positioned (future versions) without significantly decreasing the manageability of the Vidi window head.
o According to Creating a customized window head of this document, the Vidi head can contain a bitmap copy of a particular window area, some menu items or (future versions) an interactive cut of window area (a menu ribbon for example). Switching the heading to the Menu mode, the interactions are then enabled. Switching to the Picture mode, the interaction with the Head content is disabled.
The Picture mode prevents interaction with the content, and the head surface can be used just to move window around the desktop.
The Menu mode switches the interaction with the head content ON without significantly decreasing the movement ability of the Vidi window with its head. Within this mode, Vidi window can be moved by using dragging on the head borders. The small symbol is shown as little in the background in this mode, but still remains visible.
