General about save and restore

All the settings can be stored or retrieved to/from a desktop or other folder item. Among others, the following properties are saved:

size

o size

o position

o style

o border size

o transparency

o luminosity

o colours

o inherited window and its position within Vidi window

o actual visibility mode

o ....

Actual Vidi window can be stored on demand using the menu tree item “save as ...” into a desktop item or into a desired file folder. Simultaneously, with this manual “mechanism”, the Vidi window and its profile is saved automatically by the program after closing the Vidi window into a special desktop item named Vidi.

This also makes it possible to exactly restart the same Vidi window after temporarily closing or after a new-start of the computer.

The last closed Vidi window can be restored on the display by opening with double clicking on its desktop item.

Remark:   Only Vidi symbol only could be used as an icon for desktop or folder icon.
