The scissors can cut windows in three different ways, which may be changed/set by subsequent double-click on the scissors-pad or nib. The colour of the scissors-pad, scissors-nib
and scissors-handle changes according to the current cutting mode.
Remark: right-click on the nib opens a scissor menu or moves it temporarily
to the nib, if
already opened on the scissors-pad.
: Rectangular mode. User can freely
select the rectangular areas for cutting. If
configured (Snapping is ON), the sub-rectangle detection proposes possible borders by
wrapping (or suggesting) the selection-rectangle borders to detected sub-window
borders.
: Freeform mode. A freeform closed
curve can be drawn around the chosen
window/screen area to make a selection .
: Smart Mode. Screen objects are
automatically detected and highlighted when
a mouse is dragged inside of the object. (*the Light Edition detects rectangular sub-windows only)Getting started with a scissors
