Smart Scissors mode

In Smart scissor mode, the scissors gets the ability to detect patterns and objects on the screen. Rectangular or freeform objects are detected and are highlighted automatically without need, you draw a selection-rectangle or closed curve around them.

Using mouse-buttons, or space key, the selected objects can be merged into a larger common object. The resulting object can subsequently, be used for Vidi creation, or other types of screen capturing.

Remark: the object detection engine in Light Edition detects currently the nested sub-windows only. You may use it for flash-movie selection in internet explorer or cutting certain parts of a “Multiple Document” Interface program as shown on examples below.
